COCANA stands for "Centre for Optimization, Convex Analysis and Nonsmooth Analysis." Researchers at UBC Okanagan with interest and expertise in these areas include: Heinz Bauschke, Julian Cheng, Warren Hare, Abbas Milani, Jason Loeppky, Yves Lucet, Solomon Tesfamariam, and Shawn Wang.
